    Just enough, and never enough
Hids are not legal if you do not retrofit the housing so be careful... blinding people is not cool, make your own retrofit or buy projectors(Hid compatible) and wire the Hids up. The wiring is not hard just do your homework and read up.

    What Mods!
If your truck didnt come equipped with hid you can still get hit no matter if you retrofit them, its just when you use a projector the pattern isnt scattered its controlled alot better.

lets not call people names, im sure he was just joking. HID's are simple. Just do your research and read other peoples write ups.

if your using hid reflector housing set up (plug and play), tacomas are high enough as is along with the beam pattern, so what you wanna do is point the light beam down a lil bit to limit glare and blinding ppl, cause trucks do so, enough as is. just make sure you dont angle the beam down so far that yo ucant see 10 feet in front you. gl.

As long as the capsules come with a shield, you are fine. HID plug and play kits aren't as bad as some people say. Most of the time they have never owned a kit and just go by what the anal people say lol.

The black rubber boot that sealed the H4 bulb, did you re-install with the HIDs?

Sorry my response took so long! Yes I reused it. It fit fine with the HID's.

Thanks for the response. The wire harness I have, it does not seem possible to re-install the boot. I will have to play with it some more.

    Regards

Did you untwist the harness from the bulb and then put it on?
