Hey, so Im about to make my third drive across country this year. Unlike the other two times I will be alone, so Im looking to camp for free. Last time I had my lady with me so hotels were paid for by her...not so lucky this time.

Ill be leaving from Prescott AZ and taking the 40-44-70 and basically finishing on the 80. Anyone know of campgrounds (besides KOA's) that are decent places? Or forest service roads? Has onyone done it using only the rest stops? Ill be doing this drive late wed-sunday/monday. Any input would be awesome!
