Hello, I'm new to Tacomas. I have a 2009 access cab and I love it. I see there are 2 rubber strips on the roof. Do they serve a purpose or do they cover mounting holes? I want to put offroad lights uptop some time and I am looking for the simplest way without jerry rigging something. Thanks.

On the double cab the rubber strips cover the mounting points for the roof rack. Not sure about the access cab though.
