Not sure how long you have had your truck, but the colder weather really zaps the gas mileage in these trucks. Check out the fuelly tag in my signature. I am getting 19 now where two months ago I was in the low 20's.

I am still getting the very high 19's mpg right now, just as I did this time last year when the outside temps start to dip.

Actually, I'm quite surprised to be getting the same mpg because with having this NJ gasoline shortage right now which I have gut feeling is a bit artificial and intentional, the gas isn't being watered down (yet) which would be giving us the same 16-18 mpg as the winter additive mix...

could be winter blend fuel if you get that this time of year. a combo of cold air and winter blend kills your mpg's

Do most of you run super unleaded 91/92? Or do most just run regular unleaded, anyone notice substantial power difference between the 2, or MPG?

Regular unleaded, run between 19 & 21 depending on my driving habits.

Premium won't give you better power or mpg's.

My guess its the winter blend too. Not to thread jack. But I took a trip from San Diego to Vegas with cruise control set at 70 MPH and only averaged 18.9 MPG's It was a bit disappointing. I didn't buy the truck for good gas mileage I just thought it would have been better.

there's a few pretty good threads on octane and gas mileage in here. the consensus is there is a mileage gain from higher octane fuel however it may or may not be better cost wise depending on the the mileage increase between low and high octane and the price difference between low and high.

i've got a brand new truck and i have been getting about 17 city and 20.5 hwy in the few miles i have gone. so far, she's only seen 92 octane :)

I'll try 91 and see if the mileage increases
