front bumper project

    3" lift, custom bucket seats, removable doors, KnN, eclipse sound system

    i picked up some 2 3/8" pipe, angle steel, & some other misc metal from the scrap yard for about 40$.

    only strong enough mount point is the factory hook locations, bought some stronger and longer bolts for about 14$

    not having a tube notcher sucked but i made due with a drill press both for the main verticle tubes and the small gussets

    i forgot to take some pics in between but as you can see with out a pipe bender it was all angles for this guy

    i figured i had plenty of extra metal so making an extra angle support made sense

    buddy of mine helpin with the final welding and cleanin up

    first coat, i primed as well
    [​IMG]
    yes im a noob welder
    [​IMG]
    two coats, used three cans, 7$ a piece

    installed and undergoing the high lift test

    passed and approved

    now for the rear bumper....................................

    v8 swapped yota. dyno tuned @ 400hp
    modified total chaos uppers and lowers... king coilovers, deaver leafs, full cage, 351w motor swap, etc..
    invest in a bender

    Fabtech 3 inch lift, full magnaflow exhaust, 32 Inch toyo tires, 18 inch rims.
    thats a hella good job.
    i wish i had tha tools to do that!
