    I picked up this up and was hoping it would work for me, but I simply can't have an open bed. I need somewhere for my dog, and she hates riding back there without a cover. I had a shell on my old truck, and it looks like I'm going to get one for the new Tacoma as well.

    The rack has been used 3 times. It looks and functions as new. I have the Tacoma specific brackets that let the rack mount directly to the bed rail system in our trucks. I have all of the accessories that came with the system, including tie downs and locks/keys.

    I've got almost $700 in this, and I'll let it go for $400 cash, local pickup only. If you'd like it shipped, it's up to you to arrange the shipping.

    I'm in Los Angeles, and am heading down to San Diego this weekend if you're down there and would like to pick it up while I'm in town.

    It can go back further if you want, but I was going to put bike trays on it so it needed to be closer for them to fit.

    There are all kinds of configurations. It's pretty versatile, except for the fact it doesn't transform into a camper shell!
