What style running boards to get

Hey just wondering what type of running boards I should get for my 2013 DCLB trd sport that is black. I was thinking oval ones or the running boards that have the steps not sure. Leaning more toward black instead of stainless.
Suggestions would be great.

Go with the black oval ones, that's what I'd get. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

 

Buy these and paint , powdercoat or LineX them black

where are you located? i have my stock predator steps in storage

 

I had the predator tube steps and they are SWEET! Aggressive looking, but don't get in the way. Very functional for getting in and out of the truck AND when you have to wash the roof of the truck. Not my truck, just stole off another thread to show you

Sorry, I was referring to the style. But yes, these type of bars are nice.

 

I live in NY. The predator steps are pretty much what I am looking for, how much.

I'd look into more of a slider type step. Like the nfabs and other companies.

If you plan on a lift or are already lifted, I'd get the predator style steps.
I have the Toyota running boards and they are very high, but look nice. They also protect the body from getting dirty. I think the factory tube steps sit lower. When I lift mine, I will be getting predators and selling the running boards on craigslist.

They hug the body nicely, but are very high.

 

That's the same as mine except these aren't stainless
