We have to go with dark because of the cabinets we have. Kinda no choice. I never thought about dirt and stuff showing up...

I don't have it in my house, but I go into other people's homes on a daily basis, and I do notice a lot of dents. Definitely do not put it in the kitchen, or anywhere else where it's likely to have heavy stuff fall on it. When I was installing appliances, we used to make people sign a waiver before we'd come in the house. Rolling a fridge in on a dolly was a very dangerous move with that stuff.

I also noticed a local hotel that has bamboo in their lobby. It's covered in small, round dents......from high heeled shoes, the manager informed me.
