    2011 4x4 TRD OFF ROAD AUTO 4-DOOR 24000 MILES I was driveing on a dirt road and in 4 wheel just to excercise it and going down a steep grade and with a few bumps i got a noise and the feeling up threw the sterring wheel as if something was lose, is this common seems to drive ok in 4x4 at higher speeps on dirt road:help: and no problem on the high way

    Could be the steering shaft tsb or front diff bearing... go under your truck, grab your front CV shafts and try to move them, the drivers side is usually the culprit, ecgs makes a bushing you can install to fix this issue, most deal with it as its common, just makes noise, and a new front diff will just end up doing it as well... if neither cv's move, could be the intermediate steering shaft, there is a tsb for it posted in the tsb sticky I believe.
