Hey guys.... I'd like to have a high idle switch on my dash for when I'm winching/need max alternator output. Any idea of how to do it? 4.0 V6 engine, 2006 tacoma. I have looked around and found a few ways of people getting this done on gas engines before....

    1. Potentiometer on ECT sensor. Not ideal at all. ECM thinks engine is cold>rich mixture>goodbye catalyst.
    2. AC engage idle bump up. Put a switch to trick the ECM into thinking the AC is on. ECM raises engine idle, but not enough. I need about 15-1600 RPM.

Another thing I can think of it the accelerator pedal position sensor...trick it ino thinking the pedal is partially depressed. This would have no adverse effects on the AFR. Any ideas?
