Re-gear for 295s

I am thinking about re-gearing now that I added 295/70/17s to my truck. What gears can you guys recommend? And does anyone know of any good shops to do the work in the so cal area? Thanks

 

I plan on running the same size tire when i change mine out and plan to run 4.56 gears. I have used 4.88 with 33's (should be same height as 295/70/17) on an older toyota pickup and was just a little to low for me for a daily driver but great off road. I also had dual cases though so its a little hard to compare

not 4.88 go 4.56

 

4.88 are weaker than 4.56.

 

yotomaster in corona they know their shit or you can order then from east coast gear supply ask monkey proof to help you drop them in for you.

 

4.56 for a DD, 4.88 if you have something else to drive everyday

Yeah, it was definitely a big improvement.

It was really hard to resist the skinny pedal while I was breaking the gears in, but once thats done the fun begins
