It's been awhile since I posted, but that doesn't mean ive been idle. I installed a new aisin water pump, koyo radiator, and toyota tstat. Also a new front crank seal, and oil pump o-ring. Coolant and oil leaks are fixed:yay:
The only fun thing that I did was to install 2 kicker 6.5 subs in the rear speaker locations, and a punch 300 watt amp.It sounds great, but rattles a bit. I'll have to work on that.
I had the truck down for the better part of a month, and came dangerously close to buying a new reg cab 4 banger 4x4. Dodged that bullet for now. Next up is ball joints and tie rods. While she's down again I'm reworking the entire suspension. OME with dakars or full billies all around? What do you guys think? Other leaf options, shakles? Which coils should I get? 881, 882 with my winch? I need some opinions. Looking to go as high as I can. 33's are in the near future.

Sad month. Sold the fzj80 a few weeks ago and the tacoma will be gone tomorrow. I love my truck and this will not be easy for me.

Good news is when I sold the fzj I purchased a 97 locked lx 450.

This sale will fund that build as well as slapping a lift and tires on my 2012 reg cab.

So farewell to the 1st gen. It has been fun, and I will miss her dearly.

This is the second time I have made the mistake of selling a 1st gen tacoma:(
