Spare causing low pressure light?

    Wait...would the sensor be read if it was in the bed of my truck by radio or something? It was full of air after it was patched, but i didn't want to put it on the truck because they patched the sidewall and i didn't trust it...it was full of air until removed today....

    yes it has a radio transmitter inside the tire that tell the tpms the psi in the tire. with it in the bed of the truck patched and holding air then it would not throw the light on. with the sensor now removed and somewhere in a shop the sensor can not be read and therefore trips the light. enough of these threads already.

    Lol you left out key information in the original post. The tpms send radio signals to the ecu. So you have no problem here. The light should be on because the tire isn't close to your truck. This explains why the light has not been on for the last 2 weeks
