2013 tacoma off road

i just purchased a 2013 tacoma 4 litre 6 speed manual transmission off road package that came with the bfg rugged trail tires. i did not pay much attention to the tires until i started reading reviews about how bad they are in the snow. i complained to the dealer and they will give me any tires i want at cost . any suggestions for a good winter off road tire i live in central ny
