Has anyone ever tried bolting up a Previa S/C to a 2.4 liter Tacoma? The engine codes are very similar and I don't see why it wouldn't work... Would a 2WD 5-speed Previa ECU and a supercharger (and maybe some adjustable cam gears and FPR) bolt in and run?

Anyone ever do this or am I going to be a pioneer over here?

I think you are probably going to be a front runner on this one man....I'm guessing you have a Previa blower laying around??

Not yet, but they should have the same bolt pattern on the intake manifold. It shouldn't be hard to find a blower at a junkyard somewhere. I will need to see how to bolt up EGR since its on a hard pipe on my IM and check to see if the Previa uses bigger injectors. This is entry level stuff for me.

just did my research... not possible without at least a complete head swap and an ecu from japan from the estima emina (only supercharged model with a 5-speed). that would be nearly impossible to source!

Woa, just stumbled across your thread after posting a similar one of my own.
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/4-cylinder/37231-switchable-supercharger.html

What if you just use a switch in the cab to activate/ deactivate the supercharger?
