seatbelt chime

anyone know the quik fix to disable the seatbelt chime on a 2012

 

Go to junk yard get cut one off the belt

 

theres a few write ups on it for the 12-13 trucks...the dealer can turn it off or theres a way u can take the seat out and cover off the seatbelt clicker and put something in there to keep a latch pressed down

 

Just do what i did. Go to the dealer with a cab full of tools with a tool bag on passenger seat. Ask them to hook up computer to turn off.

Or do what I did,spend 6.50 on plugs from ok club in hong kong. i have a 2012,works great,no more pissing around. Cant find a junk one,6.50 well worth it.

 

Remember if you go to the dealer to turn it off, and you ever reset your truck's computer by unhooking the battery, it will go back to factory settings- which means another trip to the shop...

Mine didn't reset after a battery disconnect for over an hour...

 

Mines been silent for a year and a half now, with the battery disconnected multiple times.
