Nice setup! How do you like the image dynamics sub and components? And why didn't you go with the 12" sub box? Do you know if it was an amp mounting board in it?

Sorry for all the questions im just trying to learn. :)

Thanks! I love my ID speakers! They are all entry level for ID but in this price point you can't find many speakers that compare to their sound quality.

A 10" sub is plenty for me and I still wanted to keep 1 side for storage.

Really can't comment on this as I only put the sound dampner on the front doors.

    OP nice job.

is the box anchored at all, or just sitting in that spot within the plastic "frame"?

    Hey ilovetacos,

by any chance do you have a pic of how you anchored the sub with the "L" bracket. I really don't want to drill the back of the box for the bolts. I assume yo bolted the L bracket to truck and used wood screws to secure box to bracket?

    thnx man

Sorry man no pics...but you pretty much explained it.

I used an existing threaded hole on the back wall with a bolt and used wood screws to secure the "L" bracket to the box. I also used a little silicone around the wood screws so that the box is still air tight sealed.

    PERFECT!

Maybe bolt down two loop brackets and do a nylon strap tie down or tight bungee cord for easy removal..will see

Outstanding work on the set-up...this is just about exactly what I would like to do to my taco.
How does it sound after all this time? Any issues with the amp driving all the speakers?
I would like to stick to one amp for my install to..but the active crossover would be a way I would like to go..just have to learn more about it.
The Image speakers, noticed their website is closed..wonder if they went out of business. Not sure of those speakers with a company no longer running. Been looking at Hybrid speakers also.

    Thx for the input.

No issues with the amp or ID speakers. Definitely a great entry level set up for not a lot of cash.

Sadly Image Dynamics is no longer in business. From what I heard the owner and his business partner couldn't work out a deal.

Heard they will be back up and running with new management.
In the meantime, worked good deal with local audio place to install complete Memphis system (12" sub, 2 amps, front comp. And rear coax with box, wires, install) for 1500.
