Hi everyone, I did a bit of research on here and as much as I could online to see if I could figure things out but I havent had much luck. I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus with Jellybean. I have a 2012 Tacoma DCSB without entune but it comes with the Bluetooth Audio Streaming and Bluetooth Phone usage.

The problem is I havent been able to use both the BT Audio Streaming and Phone together. It seems to only work one way or the other. Initially I was only connected to the phone and a couple of days ago I decided to try and connect the audio streaming too. While connecting the system said something to the affect of "phone will be disconnected it can be connected later after streaming pairing is done" and it goes on to pair my SGN to steam audio but the phone stops working. If i go back to pair the phone the streaming stops working.

I've gone through the manual and there's no warnings or fine print but it does look like they both should work together. I'm unable to get it to work so I'm wondering if anyone has had this issue with Android, what OS and if you have any tips/tricks on how to get it all working?

when you pair the phone as a phone, you need to select internal audio from the truck. it talks about it in the manual. if you are streaming music, when someone calls, the music stops, since the caller is coming through the truck speakers. when the call is ended the music starts again automatically.

I have grown to absolutely despise the BT functionality of the stock radio. I also have a Galaxy Nexus and cannot get it to stream audio to save my life in my Tacoma. I've gone through and tried setting it up 8 ways from Sunday, but it will not work. BT phone works just fine. But I cannot get audio to stream. I know the phone works fine, because I've streamed music over BT in other vehicles with it. Unbelievably frustrating and disappointing.
