Originally, I wanted the Mickey Thompson Classic II's, but since they won't fit, I am trying to find an alternative.

My search came up with these.

My question is, does anyone know if these wheels will work on the 2nd gen.?
Also, Pacer is a "cheap" wheel, meaning it isn't a name brand, so how do y'all think these will hold up, finish wise?

    Thanks!

But Wheeler's steelies are steel, these aren't.

RCOTaco, I know this is old but just wanted to give my 2cents for anyone looking at these. I just recently had these "put on" my 08 Tacoma TRD Sport in a 17x9 4.5 bs with -12 offset at a local Les Schwab in Oregon. I was pretty excited to see them UNTIL every problem imaginable started happening. First, the sensors for our wheels will not mate up with the hole in these wheels, so you'll need to buy 4 new sensors, which gets spendy. Second, I needed to buy new ET lugs just to get them to thread safely. Finally, they got the wheels on, it looked fantastic (this is with a 3" Revtek and 285/70/17 tire), they started to back it out of the shop and heard a loud grinding, pulled it back in and the calipers had cut a deep trench into the inside of the wheel. We decided to try a 1/4 spacer on the front, that ended up pushing the wheel out enough to fit, but now not even the ET lugs would screw down enough to saftly seat the wheel (leaving only two threads left and risking scratching up the outside of the wheel) so that was a no go. And so, where this was suppose to be a 1 hour process of putting on these wheels, it took roughly 6 hours at Les Schwab and I still drove home in the same truck I showed up with but with my TPMS going off. :(

I know that my truck is a TRD Sport and like TRD Off-Roads, I believe I have bigger calipers then a baseline Tacoma (maybe i'm wrong, im just guessing) but if anyone who is reading this has concidered these wheels, I'd save yourself the trouble, even in a 17x9 wheel, they won't work.

I am now looking at the Pro Comp 7069 17x9 (I may be the guinea pig for these as well, but what the hell). According to Pro Comp, they fit without a doubt, we'll see on Friday I guess.

Oh yea, by the way, Pacer will tell you they will 100% positively fit, but they won't. Not on a Sport anyways. ;)
