Had the TSB done. I'm very pleased with the looks of the truck now. I have a 3 inch leveling kit that set the truck in an odd stance with the rear sagging about a half inch on the drivers side rear and about level on the passenger side. After the TSB I am completely level if not a little higher in the rear. I notice the rear end skittering a little bit more when I go over rough spots in the road but it's totally acceptable to me. My tech guy wasn't aware of any other TSB's but I think he will hold off on telling me about any other freebies.

Dealer finnally fixed my issue. They replace the passenger side spring with the correct #. They both now look the same and ride feels better.

You should get this tsb done if you havent. its worth the effort and time and no more hits on the bump stops or even sagging.

Somewhat new member here and looking to add support to the rear springs of my 2012 4dr 4x4 TRD Tacoma, 2+1 leaf set. I see the TRD Sport has a 3+1 leaf set. I had a 2001 for 5 yrs added a leaf and had to add a 1 inch front spacer over my coil and shocks to level the front. Looking to do the same but since the truck is new I want to make sure not to damage anything or have to change shocks, brake line etc. Don't have alot of money to spend and just want to be able to haul some weight and have the truck sit an inch higher. Q: Which is the best add a leaf long or short or a helper spring? Then will a (1) spacer bring the truck back to normal set. Mearsurements taken from ground to bottom lip of fender dead center of the wheels. My set id 35.5 drivers rear 36.0 passanger rear, 34.5 drivers side front and 35.0 passanger side front. Tire pressure 34 front 33 rear. Don't want to buy 5100s now. Any information on what this package would raise the truck to would help. TKS

My 09 has had the tsb completed as it has 4 leafs, I have warranty till 5 year or 100k kms and my leafs are flat at best, and actually look like they are curved the wrong way. I brought it to the local dealer and service rep didn't even look at it just told me to buy an add a leaf. But if these leafs are shot I'm just compounding the problem. What IMHO is a fix would be to put all new leafs in plus a add a leaf as I either tow skidoos or have one in the back of the truck the majority of the winter. What aftermarket leaf packs is everyone going with?
