Is our clamshell the same as the fjc clamshell? Surely harrop would know if those elockers fit an fjc since they have them in aus.

yes the same part numbers, they are just CYA,(cover your ass) They dont want to strait up say yes just for caution. so im 99.9% sure that this locker will work in a 05+ Tacoma front IFS diff. waiting on quote from Harrop and then I will try contacting east coast and see if they are willing to help me out... local shops are full of tards lol

Ok im looking at the parts required, im trying to understand but cant seem to grasp it. Im looking at putting nitro 4.56 with the locker but what model number do i get to match up with the gears? On ecgs it says for the 4.56 i need the 3.73 and down carrier but what would that translate too? >3.91 or <3.73?

    >3.91, you need, it set-up for the clearances is all

its like when ordered the rear locker through ARB 3.73 and less = RD111
    3.91 and up = RD121

Right. 4.56 is a lower ratio than 3.91 hence < sign.

EDIT: never mind on rereading it now I am confused.

EDIT EDIT: As a heavy duty mechanic <3:73 would mean a lower gearing, hence a higher number. It appears they are doing it the opposite.
