Hey members. I am a new member. I joined the forum for multiple reasons. My initial goal is to acquire an older Tacoma 4x4 that is in good mechanical condition and I thought this would be a great place to do that. Then after that is accomplished, to get ongoing help with problems that I might encounter. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of the group.

To answer neontrail- distance isnt much of a concern on the right truck. There are plenty of shipping companies that will pick it up and bringit to me. As far as price, here is my quandry. I am a hunter and manage some land that is also used for grazing. My FX4 is getting abused pretty bad by the terrain and the cows. they want to rub up against it with their metal tags. I also want to put a high rack on top and its just not practical for my everyday truck. that being said, I need to find an older Tacoma SR5 4x4 thats mechanically sound that I can rigg up. Something in the 4-8K range would be good
