Just recently purchased my 2013 Tacoma TSS, I have been a Subaru owner for the past 12 years, and making the jump was a different one, but one that was well worth it! I absolutely love the truck! and never thought id say that, i didnt get a 4x4 and that is one of the adjustments ill have too get used too since i had AWD the last 12 years, but in my area i think ill be ok, we dont get a lot of snow, but do get ocassional ice, but even awd doesent help with the ice!

AWD would only help a little with acceleration, but nothing else. I've driven a RWD truck in Michigan in the snow/ice for over 12 years with no ABS or any other driver aids and never had a problem. It's all about the tires you have and how careful you drive in the frozen stuff.

    Welcome!
