It doesn't have the small cubby pockets in the bed. It has the lower ones with latches but the others aren't part of the bed any more. I might need to order them to install, I was planning to put A 12v outlet in the driver side one.

Are you referring to the cubbys above the wheel wells?

Yes he is...some models at the dealership had them and some didn't...I didn't realize that mine didn't have them until it was too late...

Possibly the saddest thing EVER. I used them all the time on my 2011...

Don't think you could add them aftermarket...the bed would need to be cut...

Yes, my short bed doesn't have them, my 2006 pre-runner did.

Odd. I've never really found a use for them aside from stashing my cell phone or truck keys in them at the beach. Wonder why Toyota did away with them?

On my old Tacoma I installed flush mounted LED lights along the bed, the dealer took it out and cut a square hole to install a cubby box after I traded it in.

I used mine for rags and trash. I'm guessing Toyota felt the same as you and thought that they could save $10 per truck by not adding them...

Like I said though, some of the 13's at the dealership had them, but some didn't...I believe the TRD's didn't have them, or 4x4...can't remember the pattern I saw...

I'm not a fan of mine. In my 05, they are the only thing that "rattle". Up to this point, they've never been used.

hell what DOES the 2013 model have that the old ones don't? and don't say "limited" because those suck and Canada has had those "Limited" features for years

Sometimes, newer takes away what little features make the difference. I like mine, store my trailer light adapter, bungee cords, flares, spare set of leather work gloves and couple of 55 gal heavy plastic trash bags. I keep the little items in a clear freezer zip bag. Only keep light weight items in them as the panel doors are not that strong.

Lame! As pointless as they seem, they do still come in handy sometimes
