    Hi all,

Long time lurker, occasional poster needing some ideas about something that happened on the way home tonight.

Heading up the road, probably doing about 65-70mph when I heard a sound that sounds like the chatter bumps they have on the highways for when you wander over to the side. It wasn't as loud as that would have been, but I did feel something through the pedal. I pulled over and all four tires seemed OK, there was nothing hanging, no smell of burning rubber. Got back in, drove the rest of the way home (going slower than 60) and it didn't happen again.

    Any thoughts?

Have them check your trans fluid... Tacoma Dealership is replacing my trans & radiator under warranty right now as we speak because of moisture leaking into the trans from the radiator.. I had the same type symptom!
