Have you seen invoice? Ask them to show it to you, since you said MSRP was 32,200 or something? I have a hard time believing invoice is above 30k without Entune. Basically they are telling you invoice is 1k under MSRP, usually its 2-3k. Just to be sure, I would call another Toyota dealer and tell them the deal you are getting and see if they will beat it. That usually works good! :)

You can do better...Don't give up. I would shoot for at least $30,150 but it does depend on the market in your area. Here in Albuquerque I could barley get under $31K. So emailed several dealers in Arizona, Denver and Texas. All of them were willing to do the $30,150 but only one would go for the $29,400 offer I made for the exact same vehicle.

just need to make sure they don't reduce the price and you end up having to come out of pocket for the tax if its a few thousand bucks...

the dealer can go below the invoice and they get reimbursed from toyota, so dont be afraid to say I want 500 below invoice , that might be better than saying ill take it for 31500 OTD.... do the math, don't sign anything.

Toyota does not "reimburse" dealers money that they give away when selling anything. There is a static number in place. Go below it and they lose money.

Another thing I see in this thread is the idea that the real price of a Tacoma is 2-3k under invoice. Thats not true either.. or that Costco can for sure get you 900 under invoice just by being a memeber of Costco.

I sell Toyotas for a living so have some real world idea of what Tacomas sell for.

X2. Dealers are willing to give away their holdback especially knowing how much they can make if they hit their monthly bogey #.
