Just wanted to see who else was running with this size tire... I went with Nitto Terra Grabbers due to the cost & the positive reviews.
I know from reading that 285 seems to be the most popular size upgrade ~ I did a bunch of modification to fit the 295's:

    1. Cab mount Chop
    2. pinch weld beat back
    3. High Clearance custom Flares

My lift is budget: 5100's set at 2.25 up front with stock coils and a Wheelers 1.5 3 leaf AAL in the rear. I do have the ATO shackle flip with the RCD 5100's in the rear for the added travel.

I'll eventually re-gear and size up to 315's - I won't have to do too much more to fit them.

Here are some pics as it sits now:

    Anyone else have these?
    Thank you,

I roll 295's on muh 1st Gen. junk.

    Pro's:
    ...a true 33.3" tire = 1/2"+ taller then most 285's, that I know

    Cons:
...could be more difficult to locate/purchase at a tire shop
then the more commonly available 285's

I have the 295/70/17 which are .16" smaller than yours. they are also Nitto Terra Grapplers.
I got them for being a true 33" tire and they were about $40 cheaper each compared to the 285 so i chose those.

    nothing yet!
anyone running these with a spindle lift? Figured that 4-5 inch lift should be enough to stuff these in there. Sure probably some modification needed.
