While navigating the Toyota web site in search of options for a new 2013 pick-up to replace my faithful 2001 Tacoma, I'm almost dumbfounded by the color choices available if I want a 2wd, regular cab, with manual transmission:

    - white
    - silver

What the... When I got my 2001, it came with a decent SR5 package, nice wheels, etc.... now all I get is the option of a sliding window and two colors. :( My current truck is silver and I was hoping for something a little different... but I guess not.

Does Toyota ever change their options as the year goes on? (Like add more color options?) As of right now, it doesn't appear as though any dealers within reasonable distance to me have any manual, 2wd regular cabs. I'm sure there's no profit to be made in the vehicle I want and it seems like only large trucks are popular these days, so I kind of understand the lack of choices... but only 2 colors!??!? :(

    Clazzio seat covers,
I can a get a Barcelona Red regular cab 2wd manual in the Va Beach area. Try another zip code than your's ... either build or do an inventory search ... best of luck.

My advice to you is to go in and talk to a dealer. According to the website, I could not get the truck I have parked in my driveway right now. But there it is.

If you're willing to travel to Madison, I can recommend a good salesperson here. My only experience with Wilde was unpleasant, but they are a huge dealership so you might do OK there, too.

I tried using a Madison ZIP code (about an hour a way) and white was the only color option! Heck, now it's only showing white for even my ZIP code. Weird. There are several colors available for models with automatic transmissions, but I just prefer stick (gives my left foot and right hand something to do.)

I bought my wife's RAV 4 at Wilde and because it was the only dealer that had Pyrite Mica at the time. I must've gotten a decent sales person.

Are there any options for the 2wd regular cabs, aside from just the sliding window (in other ZIP codes)? Seems like most reg cab owners on these forums don't have any options like intermittent wipers, power mirrors, color matched bumpers, or cruise control. No love.

I hear ya. I'm sort of particular, too.

I walked into the dealership, and told them exactly what I wanted. The sales dude went all tippity tappity on the computer and voila, there was one in the country and he could get it.

Anyway, if you're serious about buying, any sales person worth their polo shirt and khakis is gonna try to find you your truck. The website is useless. Its so frustrating.
