    sorry for the late response. New M/C fixed my issues, brakes are good to go. Thanks for the info everyone!

    This is great advice and overlooked my almost everyone. Corrosion is the #1 killer of brake hydraulics and can be virtually eliminated by flushing the system on a regular basis. Come to think of it, mine is due :rolleyes:

    My mistake... meant 5.1 (glycol)
    Ya, silicones are not idea for a number of reasons.
