the bfg is well known as a good tire. i ran it for a while on my old pickup but the goodyears i ran after were much better in all areas but noise and balancing. takes a bit of weight to balance them lol

i just find the bfg's overpriced and are easy to load up with mud and snow. it is a great tire but i feel there are better out there, for the money.

i will credit it with a good, strong, sidewall even in light load ranges

Rode BFG AT for over 10 years on last Tacoma. Went with Goodyear DuraTrac this time. No worse on noise, looks better, but lost approx. 1-2 mpg with E load. Will go with C load next time. They look better in person than pic.

dura-tracs. . . .agreed and i've never run them. perfect looking tread pattern, nasty side lugs, what more do you need.

rumor has it that i run the bastardized version of the duratrac through walmart. i love em

How many miles do you have on those Goodyear Wrangler Authoritys? Are they wearing well? any issues with mild to medium off roading?

I've been thinking about them also, but can't find any real good info except for a couple of threads on TW, and no actual technical details.

    Never ending......$$$
I went with the dynopro atm's in the p rated size 265/75/16. I don't tow or wheel, just pavement, snow, rain, and a little dirt. I didn't want to lose mpg's and read all the good reviews on here. The tires are sitting in my garage and are going on next week I hope. got a great deal through DTD!!!!
