    Hello forum

I get a click noise from the drivers side caliper upon change of direction front to back. Changed the pins and clips in both calipers, seemed to lessen the noise, but still there..... any ideas??????

    09 base model, 4cyl, manual, 4wd, 40,000 miles

really..... where the heck is it coming from.... almost sounds like it maybe some slight chucking of the pads or the spacers resinating threw the tin shield on the back of the rotor.... am I close????? pads are at or about 60%. The reason why I ask is because a friend of mine has a 09 that does this but on the passenger side.... just curious....

I have the same problem and came across this post by searching for the problem. In mine it is loud and I have been told it may be the brakes shifting back and forth while changing directions. It makes since but im not sure if this is accurate or not yet. It is not normal though I can tell you that. It emberrases me when there are people around. I know something like this shoulden't, but when you take pride in your vehicle and make payments on it this sort of thing is not acceptable to me.

I thought I broke something the first time I heard mine do it.

Came searching here to find that it's normal because the front pads fit in a space larger than they are. When you change direction they can slap back the other direction.
