I knew it the first time my wife took my truck it got hit. I know it is a truck but the first dent is the hardest. She had the truck parked and did not even know it was hit. I came home and saw the dent on the bumper. When I showed it to her I so felt so bad as she went crying and all. Even though it was not her fault she knew the truck was my pride and joy and she felt bad for me. The dent is very small and I so hope it really F....D up the other:bananadead: car.

Anyway should I get the dent fixed or leave it alone? How much is a rear bumper for an 09 access cab sr5 prerunner?

    getting there....
sorry you got dented........but i'd leave it alone. 2 reasons.......wear it as a badge of honor(well...kinda anyway), its the first dent....now it wont hurt so bad if it happens again......hopefully not, but you never know.

Ah shucks. You know she backed into a light pole or something. Just barely tapped it enough to dent and claimed someone hit it. C'mon. My old lady backed into a goose-neck hitch and caved in my 97 Tacoma's tailgate. No biggie so long as it still opens and closes imo.

Beats the hell out of getting a dent on the body! Just live w/it....trust me, its a truck............................their will be more! Just wait until you get the inverted dent in your bumper from a rock being thrown up against it by your rear tire!

If you were using it as a show truck... that's one thing. But as a DD... I'd just live with it. If it really starts bugging you, maybe the investment in a new one is worth it... I'd live with it myself.

I say you have a good excuse to get one that won't dent. Bet she won't argue about it either.
