No money, all went to truck...
I tried searching didn't find anything.

Anyone know the weight limit of the tacoma tailgate when its UP. How much lumber can I stack on the tailgate when its closed?

I dont think you will have a problem with the 12' the rear tire of my motorcycle sits on it with no problems. i mean if you are going to put a F-ton of lumber that is twice as long as th length of the box with the tailgate open you might run into problems but i could be wrong.

With the tailgate up/latched I have put 28 8' pt 1x6 decking and 6 8' pt 2x8s all resting on the tailgate, I was a little worried at first but no damage and it worked fine!
