looked at a few... thought this was the best one

smittybilt beaver step, you can also hook a recovery strap up to this if need be

powder coated, full solid steel construction. i was getting up and down out of the bed today and would have really liked a step. plus... added rear end protection.

i picked out 3, 2 were go rhino and this smittybilt, showed all 3 to a female friend and she liked this the best as well. the other 2 were tubular steel construction. this was the most solid of the 3.

just wanted some more opinions, or another company y'all might know with solid construction.

    thanks

*EDIT* its also the most stealth from looking at it straight on from a car behind me point of view esp when i get around to a lift

i've always liked the idea of these, but in practice my shin would not like it. I bang myself on a receiver/ball so this thing would be worse

also, if you lower your tailgate, then the step is useless.

I think NJ passed some stupid law a few years ago that you can't leave anything in your receiver unless you are actually towing. You might get a ticket with that, every NJ law enforcement officer I ever had the displeasure of meeting was a complete a-hole.

Friend has one on his Ridgeline. I was not impressed. One of the reasons was, yeah, bumped my shin on it.
