Noob Question: How to change headlight bulb on an '08 Tacoma?

How do I replace the headlight bulb on an '08 Tacoma?

 

There is a rubber boot over the bulb, pull that straight off, then there is a metal retainer clip holding the bulb in place. Undo the clip, pull the old bulb out and put the new one in. DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS ON THE NEW BULB!!! Wear nitrile gloves or be very careful not to touch the glass.

 

open up the hood, look at the headlight assembly and you'll see a h4 connector with a rubber boot around it.

unplug the h4 connector and pull the boot off by pulling straight back

then you'll see the bulb held in place by a wire clamp

unhook the clamp, and take the bulb

 

beat me by SECONDS!
