I recently bought a 2002 Tacoma TRD. When I bought it the owner said he was running a larger set of tires on it and I might hear some rubbing on sharp turns, but it's just the fender and isn't a problem.
After I bought the truck I did a closer inspection and I noticed that the edge of the wheel/rim is actually rubbing on the tie rod and is grinding a little bit of metal away along with the weights. It only rubs on sharp turns.
My truck has 265 70 R16 tires on 16in cobra wheels. Is there any way I can help fix this? I was looking into wheel spacers but not sure if that's the best way to go.

    Thanks

Yep, either wheel spacers, or different wheels.

What is the OE wheel size for the 02 Tacoma TRD?
