    LT rated?

    Mine are P rated...

How you liking them compared to the Hankook Mud versions you had before?

i think the Grabbers look better (more aggressive) than the BFG TA KOs! thanks to the subtle side tread on the side wall. I just put mine on, and couldn't be happier with the way they look. only prob, i went "1 up" from the OEM tire size and i'm getting a little rub with the stock height of the truck. OEM tire size on my TRD Sport was 265/65/17 and I went with 265/70/17 Grabbers. all the info on this website said i should have been fine, but i'm getting a little rub when i back up and cut the wheel at the same time ...like when i'm backing out of a parking spot, or my driveway, and cutting the wheel. rubbing is occurring on the front inside edge of the front wheel wells. this was totally unexpected! but should to away as the tire wears. hopefully! or i'll have to put a leveling kit on the front.

What exact tire is this? I know its a 265/70/17 but is it a P or LT version and DID you have to remove the front mud flap to not get rubbing?? Sorry I am a newbie!! Thanks

I am in the same boat, trying to figure out to go with Hankook DynoPros or General ATs or Nittos. The Hankooks come in a P and and LT model, not sure what to go with.

    Thanks again!

I have the P rated DynaPros. If money is not short get the LTs for longer life.

regarding the rub, yes, mud flaps removed. however, i discovered the problem. i put on aftermarket wheels at the same time. turns out the wheels have less offset then the factory, which makes them stick out a bit further. this is causing them to not clear the inside edge of fender. so its not the tires, any 265/70 should be fine on the STOCK wheel.

Which of these three tires woupd you guys expect to last longer and/or perform better for mild off roading in the stock 265/70/R16 P rated size. They are all three about the same price and I just don't think I can bring myself to spend the extra for LT rated 265/75/16s, or if I did I would just get some T/A KOs or Duratracs.

PS, I put over 37,000 miles on my truck this passt year, 95% highway miles and about 4% city driving with just a few off road trips. So I need something that will last at least 60,000 miles as I don't want to be dropping $800-$900 a year on tires.

This is an old thread, indeed... My Hankook Dynapro ATM, 265/75-16 (P rated) are now almost 2 years old and have 26,300 miles on them... and they are wearing better than the stock BFGs, Cooper ATRs, and Toyo ATs at this point, on my current and previous Tacomas.
