Good we need less criminals. Quickest way to cut about a trillion from the budget would be a massive savings on law enforcement and prisons by getting rid of all the Marijuana Criminals. Our bullshit war on drugs has cost this country FAR too much. but anyways back on topic, no I would not give up my guns. Even if I was high I wouldn't.

Maybe if the sign was in Spanish it would be more effective.

    No, w/out a S/N it's an illegal gun!

...registration, is only a requirement in a few states... most don't have registration - thankfully...

The only serial number on it is a hand engraved number by the PD that issued it out once upon a time

Wow. I'm sure you got plenty of response to your comments, but I'm going to add my two cents anyway. Your concepts of America are twisted at best. First, most of us don't give a darn about our reputation with you, your friends, or your "high-ranking" associates. This country is here to serve us, not you. And, given the number of immigrants and visiting tourists each year, it appears to be serving us in this regard quite well.

Next, crime rates in this country are influenced by a great number of factors, the least of which is guns. As you say, guns have been here a long time, long before the current growing crime rates. Instead, the present increase in gun sales is in response to those growing crime rates. As we've done in the past, we will get crime and criminals under control, one way or the other.

Finally, yes, our larger cities are in disarray, just as your larger cities are. However, our towns and communities elsewhere are, for the most part, doing just fine. Based on the views of your countrymen (exemplified by your portrayal of the comments of your friends and associates), I'd certainly rather be here than there.

Yes, because it's still visible for people to read. However, my comments apply equally to today (hence the words "present," "current," etc).

I've come to my senses and realize this forum is massively bias so ill go ahead and dump my ideals and won't attempt to debate this issue since those who are willing to die and kill others for a piece of cold steel will never accept the reality of the matter at hand.....ill just start waving the Rebel flag

The reality at hand is that it is a right protected by the very document that makes America America. You don't like the constitution or the amendments, you don't like America. It sounds like chest thumping but it isn't, its the honest to goodness way it is. There are very few things in life that are so black and white, but the right to bear arms is one of those things.

Freedoms cost blood, some more than others. While a bunch of people have not died for the 19th Amendment there still has been blood shed for it. Meanwhile the fourteenth amendment killed almost half the nations men. Its just the cost of freedom. The key is that if you erode one freedom, you will erode them all eventually, especially if you erode the freedom that provides the means to protect the other freedoms.

That you for the picture of the chick, she is cute. As far as the Rebel Flag, some of my ancestors were enslaved underneath that flag so you won't see me waving it anytime soon.

The 2nd amendment was enacted in a time of uncertainties to protect the people from a tyrannical government that would make use of a standing army to exploit its people.
in modern day America the ball of propaganda has already reach a point where no one group of well armed individuals could do a thing to stop lobbyists to influence congress into the pockets of banks and corporations thus stripping away the average citinzen's basic necessities. Your notion that today's American public is a well regulated militia is laughable and in reality does more harm than good. You really think with a standing army that has the spending power 10 times over that of any other standing army in the world could be outmatched by by a couple thousands, at best, individuals with semi automatic rifles, don't make me laugh. Just the Iraq as an example, we tore apart the disbanded military yea there were a few al-Qaeda members in there but mostly it was composed of guys with plenty of military training and war experience. America has been lost for a 100 years it was signed away to the bankers when Woodrow Wilson established the Federal Reserve.
