Hey everyone, decided to finally sign up on here after having my truck for a couple of months. Names John, I'm from Chicago. My Tacoma is a 2012 Sport access cab. I am no stranger to the car scene, forums, Toyotas OR even Tacomas.

I've been a member on XR-Underground since '07. I used to have a 2005 XRunner. I know I met a few of you guys out at ToyotaFest back in 2010 when I drove out there. It stirred up some questions earlier this year when I traded it for a 2012 Mustang and didn't part it out haha and the guy was stalking me. Truth is, Fords quality (at least on their Mustangs is... sub par. On top of that, Sync sucks.) I really missed having a pickup and decided to trade the NotABoss for another Tacoma.

I currently have 2 other Toyotas besides the Tacoma. I have a 1997 Celica that I'm trying to sell and I just picked up a first gen Celica at the end of summer. The old Celica has to be my favorite car I've ever owned.

I actually don't have a pic of my new ride at this time. I have already started modifying it though haha. I have a problem with that. So far it has:

    Weathertech mats and visors
    TRD skid plate
    TRD O/R tow hook
TRD Shiftknob (being an auto it adds AT LEAST 15 horsepower :p)
TRD Drop in filter (left over from my supercharged XRunner)
I've also taken the liberty of already ripping off a mud flap (at 60 miles) so I took the other 3 off. I'm debating on getting a set of RallyArmor ones in red...

I also picked up a set of BNIB TRD trail team 16's in black for when I get around to lifting this thing

I'm happy to be here and I imagine it'll be a great stay just like any other Toyota community. Nice to meet you all!

Here's my old Tacoma. LOT's of TRD and URD and everything else. Made 365 horse and 360 torque.

Haha I'm just kidding around :p

I really do miss my XRunner but it was getting up to 100k miles and it was going to need some internal attention and the 6 speed was having issues with 4th gear I know that RA60/AY6 trans isn't the best.

So as far as this Tacoma goes, some minor stuff is already done, I'm gonna attempt the BHLM myself. I baked open the stock headlights I still had for my 2005. It's way less intimidating now.

I bought those TRD wheels for when I get a 3" lift on and then I can throw some 33" on there :)

BTW, I'm not new to the off roading scene either. Here's my old TJ I used to have:
