I have a 2012 that I bought new earlier this year. Has anyone had any issues getting the gas cap off? I know I am not the strongest man on earth but dang sometimes I have to use two hands to unscrew the cap. It doesn't make sense I have never had a problem with gas caps before.

I've noticed this on mine as well but have gotten use to it over the last year.

Hadn't noticed it being difficult to remove at all. You are stopping once the cap clicks when tightening?

    Normal here too.

It should click to keep you from getting it on too tight. Maybe that part is defective on yours?

I stop after the click. Occasionally it requires quite a bit of effort to loosen. I notice it happened more often during the summer.

Same here, if tightened to the first audible click, it's all I can do to open it. Now I just tighten until I sorta feel a click, if that makes sense.

Yep one click. I don't know just curious if it was just me or others. Never heard of a defective gas cap but I guess it could happen.

Have 2012 also and it can be extremely hard to remove sometimes. Almost feels like its suctioned in.
