My house has been infested with ants. Woke up this morning to them all over our counter, fridge and cabinets. What do you guys use to keep them at bay and out of the house. I put out some ant stakes, but I'm not too keen on chemicals/poisons around the house since my daughter is 2.

I used a shit load of that honey sauce from KFC, and made a trail to my neighbors house, and havent seen ants since.

    - Make you sure have no open food containers.
    - Use the stick-on ant baits and just put them high enough to be out of your daughter's reach.

Ants will eventually rule the world!!!
    They cannot be stopped.
They are the masters of earth!
The puny little ones we see in the U.S. are whimps compared to the central and south america badasses.

You need to follow them to the nest and wipe out the nest. They should be coming from the outside the house to the inside.
