Okay so, I want to put green 4157 wedge bulbs in for my DTRL 4157 bulb but can't find 4157 LEDs. Everything is referenced back to a 3157 LEd bulb. I tried it but it doesn't work. The 3157 doesn't light up when it's supposed th and blinks really fast when I turn on the turn signal. Anyone can help? What do I need to do? I've been looking on line for bulbs but no luck

A LED bulb is going to blink fast for your turn signal regardless unless you put a resistor in or a new turn signal relay

You can buy a blink rate controller for a motorcycle and install it with the LED lights to make them blink at the right speed.

Will the 3157s work replacing the 4157s as the DTRLs. Will they work the same way? Just with a resistor? I was told to just Mod the opening so that the bigger bulb will fit into the hole?! And where do I get the motorcycle blink rate controller ?

There isn't a flasher for the dtrl model trucks. That flasher is for a non dtrl model and will not work on any truck that has the dtrl function. Its an entirely different plug. As far as green dtrls I havet had anyone ask and im curious to see if I can make that happen.

Oh and when they say 3157 or 4157 the bulb is the exact same. The difference is the way that it is wired.

I have white/green but none that are solid green

So DTRLs white and blink green? Cool, I'd like to check those out... Can you get or make green/ amber? Where to buy? Do you have a web site?

It is neither 3 prong nor 4 prong.

Trucks that do not have DRL have an 8-pin flasher. The replacement from Superbright will cure hyperflash.

Trucks that have DRL have a 12-pin and there is no replacement available that will cure the hyperflash.

Only difference between 3157 and 4157 is the wattage.
    4157 burns a little hotter.

I can get em if I get more interest in them as I have to buy like 50 at a time. I dont have a website yet, working on that. I do have a thread I set up on the 2nd gen for sale thread though.
