I've been looking for a truck to take into the woods, we have a camp that is usually only accessed by atv but I don't own one myself and I don't want o keep borrowing my fathers. So I'm thinking of buying this truck I just emailed the person no response yet. I've got a set of new tires at the house and I'm looking a this as a project.

    Price is 500$

My main concern is rusted frame and if it runs I'm not worried about it being 4 cylinder because that's what I have now (2nd gen). The truck looks in good shape it's an hour and a half away so if I go up I would probably take cash in hand. What do you guys who own this style truck or have worked on them think?

looks like a really good deal to me. My friend has the same truck for 5 years. It was an awesome little truck with a good amount of power. However at 150,000 miles the engine seized due to a cracked cylinder head. Best of luck either way.
