I got wheel spacers cause I like the look of the tires out a little but upon reading more about the setup I have 285/75/16's rub slightly on the UCA's so I ended up needing them. But with this size tire I have to do a cab mount chop so they won't rub and also trim the plastic mud guards

Just go with the 17's you will be happier in the long run. Plenty of sizes in the 17's out there.

Sorry to sound dumb but do spacers only move the tire out from the body of the truck? If thats the case could I skip the lift all together and do a leveling kit? Do tires of 265/75/16 and add spacers to move the tires out a bit? Assuming that would work and not rub that would make the truck look nicer without spending a ton on a lift kit.

Both tires are 31.6 tall, Yes load range makes a difference but overall size is basically what he is looking for.. Yes he has a budget but also need to look ahead as I have seen too many people on here change their mind after a lil and want to go with a taller lift. Always need to look ahead.
Nothing wrong with a drop bracket lift either it all depends on what you plan on using the truck for . By the time you figure in replacing uca's, coils, shocks etc your almost same cost as a drop bracket lift. IMO the drop bracket will give you the closet ride to stock w/o wearing out your ball joints , tierodes, cv joints due to the added angle of other kits and easier to align and keep aligned. All depends on how he plans on using his truck.

Easiest thing would be to get 5100's, set to .85 with the eibach coils and a 2" block in rear or icon progressive 3 leaf pack (1.5 lift)
On the wheels just make sure you get ones with a 4.5 offset and you will be fine then you can run a 32" tire w/o doing any of the cab mount chop etc. Only thing you might want to do is just take off your front mud flaps.

    This ^

Wheel spacers are used mainly to push the wheel out just enough so they don't rub against your caliper or have tires rub against UCA's, things like that. But, with the proper backspacing you can avoid that.

Got it but based off some more reading on the forums I could do the TSB adjustment (what do I ask my dealership to do exactly?) and use 265/75/16 and keep everything else stock with no rubbing.

One thing I would also recomend is when you get your vehicle aligned if you plan on keeping it for awhile is get the lifetime alignment. Pay once and never have to again. Then you can just take it whenever to get the alignment done. I have had this on all my trucks and took them in every 5k wether it needed it or not. Especially if you plan on offraoding alot this is well worth it.

If you have a discount tire nearby, check with them, I think they price match if you find them cheaper anywhere else including online. Or you may want to check treadwright.com. Lots of guys on here run them and like them a lot. They a lot of positive reviews too. I ordered a set of A/T's and now waiting to mount them this week.

We do have a discount tire and I just found out they cannot order the nittos i want. I can however, get either silent armors, at/ko's, or duratecs. Which of those three do you guys recommend? Also how do I know what width of wheels to get? I see a lot of 16x8 and 16x9.

Depends what size I guess. Nittos 285/70/17 with tax shipped from online tires is $799.32 while discounttiredirect is $840.

Not all discount tires/americas tires price match. I believe they are independently owned so it depends. I tried one by my house and was told by the manager "we do not match online prices".

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
Depends on what tires size you get. If you are getting 265s i would go with 8 inch not 9. I like my duratracs but i haven't put them to the test enough to really recommend them, i have just heard good things about them and they look badass haha

All you have to do is call discounttire direct and they will price match anyone. Discounttiredirect.com and treaddepot.com have been the lowest prices I have found so far and both have great service
