Hey guys. I've posted on here a couple of times but figured I might as well introduce my self. I'm Pete from red deer alberta. I owned a 03 f150 before but had to trade it in for a mini van when the wife got pregnant. Figured I wouldn't miss a truck that much I could just use the van for whatever. Well we won a 2year lease on a Kia soul so I never really got to use the van for anything. I hunt and we are forever doing reno's on our house so after two years of driving the free car. I begged and pleaded and I may have cried a bit also for the wife to let me get a truck. I have always loved the tacoma's and got a pretty good deal on a 07 dclb trd, Calgary got hit with a big hail storm this summer so the deal for this guy. I love the new truck and love this forum everyone is so helpful. Looking at the aftermarket trucks sure gets me thinking on what I should do to mine. Right now thinking the ome 885's with Dakar leafs, I'm not a huge off-roader but nice to have a bit extra of height when I got hunting. Also what is truck rake? I hear it mentioned but can't find a answer about it.

    Welcome to TW!

I might be mistaken but the rake is the rear of the truck sitting higher than the front.
