Hi I recently bought the Tacoma sr5 double cab 4x4 black. I'm looking at buying a bug deflector and was wondering what the chrome deflector looks like and if anyone has pics?

The chrome one might give you some sun reflection/glare problems.
Never seen a chrome one just smoked ones.

they don’t do much. they change the way the air flows over the hood/windshield and in that way stop some very small bugs. but than most the time the hit the upper high part of the windshield and roof.

i got the clear bra from toyota when i got my truck. i love it. bugs stuck to it and i just take the tire brush and scrub them of.

I bought an AVS Bud Deflector II from Scott at TruckAddOns. It took my approx 15-20 minutes to install by myself. I like it because it doesn't touch the hood. He beat everyone's prices.

I have the same one, love it..easy as pie to install and it doesn't touch the hood. You won't need the bumper things for the hood they send..

If you want the chrome I think stampede is the only one right now that makes it for the 2012-13. This also doesn't come in contact with your hood either.
