Are tacomas made in mexico just as reliable?

    Just wondering becuase i noticed a lot of the ones with Mexico VINs are cheaper and easier to find? or coincidence?

    I would look at the trucks individually. I have a 05 CA model. I would rather have one from texas...that way i could say that. Nobody brags about anything made in CA..at least not to my knowledge

    My 07 was made in Mexico. Waited 3 days for it to get to my dealer...but man it was worth it. I haven't had any problems with mine outside of normal wear items.

    look inside you driver side door on the body. There is a sticker there with information about your truck. IE Tire PSI, make, model, vin etc

    Mexico is fine you probably get better workmaship than anything made here.
    The passion and intergrity that made the U.S.A. brand so highly sought after went out the window years ago.
