You won't find it like that- I added an S&A Magwell, a Wilson extended slide release, the G10 grips and slim bushings and screws. $869 for base, plus around $150 in parts.
As for other comments- of all my Kimbers, I've never had any failures that weren't self induced. They are, in order: Classic Custom '98; Gold Combat Stainless '01; CDP Pro '08; and Tactical Custom '07. I blew up the Tactical in a match with a squib round- didn't notice, failed to chamber the next round, did the "tap, rack...BOOM" thing. I think I posted pictures in another forum of the barrel opening up like an umbrella. Anyway, Kimbers have always been good for me.
For Springfield, I've owned a GI in '97 that I had some custom work done on, and an Ultra Compact a year later. The UC performed pretty damned well, but I'm no fan of the Springfield trigger out of the box.
I had a customized Colt Combat Commander that I carried for years- loose as a goose, but always went bang.
Now with the Sig, I'm pretty impressed but for one thing- the beavertail is not well fitted, and does rattle a tiny bit when walking. But the accuracy and handling is right up there with the best I've ever owned.

I have an American Classic II. It had good reviews so I got it. I have not shot it yet but when I return stateside I will. Who know it might be a great gun. Also how do the upgrades work on a 1911? Is everything universal?

First time seeing this thread. The only 1911 I've had is the Kimber stainless ultra carry 2. So of course,I'm a Kimber fan boy:)
I can't afford to get another to try,but I'm happy with what I got.
