Would a resonator reduce sound on magnaflow 18" muffler

I got a magnaflow muffler put on Friday and should of gotten the 22" ... Iam going back Monday to see if they will swap it for a small fee... If not maybe add o resonator any thoughts????? Thanks

 

Should've left it stock, most consider the 18" very quite on our trucks. You wont get any sound from a 22" let alone adding a res. to your set up now.

 

Yea no doubt .. Hope I can swap into 22 or resonator will work

 

I Went back to stock muffler.....let that be lesson for those who have the same concerns or questions about the sound and cab noise.......just throw a big tip on the back and b done with it

 

Vibrant resonator made a world of difference for me. I've got a full custom exhaust with no cats and the vibrant got rid of a lot of rasp, drone, and now have a nice exhaust note.

 

I am sure it is good....its just preference....I did not like the way it sounded and did not want to keep messing with it...so lost a cpl hundred and put the stock back on
