    Yeah. I honestly haven't seen one in our store for probably 3 years so I can't be sure that they're stiff. But they're constructed the same way as the VHF antennas so I can only assume.

    Doesn't firestick have a white version?

    What length would you go with? I've made a shopping cart on Amazon of possible radios I would go with, but I have no idea what size antenna would be good. I'm thinking 3' if I'm mounting it in my hood channel or camper shell. I think 4' would look funny but get better reception.

    When I had my first truck, a 88 yota 4x4 pickup, I put in a cobra cb. I have no idea what model it was, but it wasn't no fancy unit. I bought it from a friend of mine with a magnetic 4ft antenna for 30$ and a case of beer lol Picked up pretty damn good though. One night I was goofin off and talked to a trucker on a highway about 60 miles out. I ended up getting a real nice firestick from my brother in law and i kept that setup for awhile

    Damm right im going out! I just replaced my LCA's, re aligned my bumper and tightened it down, drained the waiter from my e locker, and made new breather hoses for all my actuators! Time to test it all out!

    I wouldn't mind doing the meetup for lunch in Palmer, I just don't think I can swing wheeling that day. What if we held to the plan in the OP and just allowed people to choose whether or not they want to wheel that day? Thoughts?

    Yessir. I fully plan on hitting jim creek the night of the 12th and then scouting out sutton before the meet on the 26th. Then we will have a better idea if what lies ahead before eveyone stuck and all the tow straps are shredded haha :p
